It’s the final weekend of competition at the Beijing Games, and per 2022 Winter Olympics odds, Team USA has multiple opportunities to add to its medal total before the Closing Ceremony.

Team USA’s best shots at medals are in the Men’s Halfpipe, Men’s Mass Start Speed Skating, Women’s Cross Country Skiing’s 30km Mass Start, and the Women’s 2-Woman Bobsled event.

The sports betting market has four members of Team USA among the top six favorites to medal in the Men’s Halfpipe on Friday night’s NBC broadcast (Saturday in China). Aaron Blunck, Alex Ferreira, David Wise, and Birk Irving all have a shot at the podium.

New Zealand’s Nico Porteous is the favorite on the oddsboards at DraftKings, BetMGM, BetRivers, PointsBet, and FanDuel, with Blunck and Ferreira in the next two spots. Canada’s Brendan Mackay follows, with Wise and Irving rounding out the top six.

Alpine Skiing

The Alpine Skiing Team Event is also slated for Friday night, though Team USA isn’t among the favorites to medal. Each of the 16 nations competing will utilize four of its six available skiers in each round – two men and two women.

There will be two men’s and two women’s parallel slalom runs in each round, with the men from each nation facing each other and the women facing each other. The winner of each run earns a point for their team in the single-elimination team format.
